How it works
For wall application, there are 2 kinds of brackets:
- innovative stainless-steel brackets, extremely solid and durable (typically used for the façades of commercial/industrial buildings);
- versatile plastic brackets, also enabling horizontal laying of the battens.
A system of fixing bars with stainless steel brackets are then installed on the wall. The aluminum slats are then applied onto the substructure. For very high walls, the joint is used to connect two battens. Aluminum or plastic caps can be used to seal free ends of battens.
The plastic bracket enables various arrangement of battens.
The system allows high thermal performance when applied as a pergola: it insulates the wall by acting as a sunscreen or louvers, and provides greater living comfort for the entire building.
Each slat is designed to extend the wall surface and create greater coverage. Installing a cladding system to create a pergola does not decrease the safety or durability of the structure.
