QUALICOAT
Internationally recognized product certification for painted aluminum ensures that the raw materials, production process, and finished product meet stringent quality standards. This assurance is upheld through continuous testing conducted in both the company laboratory and the Qualital certified laboratory.
QUALICOAT SEASIDE
The extension to SEASIDE class specifically pertains to products used for architectural applications in marine areas, ensuring durability and resistance to corrosive elements such as saltwater and coastal weather conditions. This classification guarantees that the products meet stringent quality standards through comprehensive testing conducted in both the company’s laboratory and the Qualital certified laboratory.
QUALICOAT QUALIDECO
International certification related to wood-effect decorated aluminum, ensuring that the raw material used, the production process implemented, and the finished decorated product have guaranteed and recognized quality in all countries worldwide. The Qualideco brand also entails tests and checks to be carried out within the company and in laboratories certified by Qualicoat.
AAMA 2604
AAMA 2604 serves as an intermediate benchmark for top-tier organic coatings applied to architectural aluminum elements. These coatings provide superior durability against weathering, chalking, fading, and gloss reduction.
AAMA 2605
AAMA 2605 represents the pinnacle of exterior performance standards. Coatings meeting this specification consist of a 70% fluoropolymer resin base, showcasing exceptional resilience against humidity, color alteration, chalking, gloss reduction, and chemical exposure.
Product testing and
certifications
ForMe battens and claddings have gained incredible certifications to meet the highest international standards in terms of fire, wind and impact resistance, sound-absorbing power, applications to ceiling and much more.
Wind and impact resistance
According to the certification recognized by IRCCOS (Research and Certification Institute for Sustainable Constructions), the Skin coating systems have excellently passed the test “Experimental verification of the performance of resistance to wind load under dynamic pressure and impact resistance” ensuring excellent performance and maintaining the initial conditions both in the integrity of the elements and in the coupling system.
Sound-absorbing power
ForMe’s products have recently been tested according to EN ISO 354:2003 (measurement of sound absorption in reverberation chamber) and 11654:1997 (acoustic absorbers for construction – evaluation of sound absorption) at the CSI Institute of Bollate obtaining very interesting results: noise is reduced in the environment by about 20%.
Application to the suspended ceiling
At the CSI Institute, ForMe Design’s battens and claddings have also been tested for use as a suspended ceiling according to EN 13964: 2014 (suspended ceilings – requirements and test methods) passing tests with uniformly distributed load for a predetermined duration of time obtaining the Class A classification 34.91 N / m².
Fire reaction
At the CSI Institute ForMe Design’s products have obtained the reaction to fire class A2/S2 according to EN 13051-1:2019 (fire classification of construction products and building elements – part 1: classification using test data from reaction to the fire).
