ForMe Design continues to strengthen the technical reliability of its systems with the successful testing of Battens 50 profiles for balustrade applications.
The mechanical resistance to static linear load of a balustrade made with Battens 50 profiles has been independently tested at IRCCOS (Institute for Research and Certification for Sustainable Construction), in accordance with UNI 11678:2017, the reference standard for fall-protection elements in building applications.
Tests were conducted on balustrades assembled with different fixing configurations. In all cases, the system demonstrated the ability to withstand the applied loads without breakage or structural failure, confirming its suitability for use in safety-critical applications.
This result validates Battens 50 not only as an architectural cladding and shading solution, but also as a reliable component for balustrades, parapets, and protective barriers. The test outcome reinforces ForMe Design’s commitment to delivering systems that combine design flexibility with verified performance, safety, and compliance with recognized standards.
With Battens 50, architectural expression and technical reliability work together to meet the demands of contemporary projects, both indoors and outdoors.
